Bartending competition raises funds for Unicorn Children’s Foundation

Raise a glass, and awareness, for Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s third annual “Bartender’s Battle.”
The event is set for Sept. 16 at Farmer’s Table, 1901 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton. Proceeds will benefit neurodivergent children.
The event is a competition among four local celebrity teams to see who can raise the most votes in support of the cause. Felette Branch and Heather Shaw, Gregory Fried and Marcie Butters, and Kendra Erika and Julissa Caballero will try to defeat reigning champions Bill Kruegel and Sarah Hassan.
There will be fierce competition, friendly banter and shameless bribing for votes. Guests will also enjoy food and drinks while mingling with community leaders, business professionals and philanthropists.
Unicorn Children’s Foundation provides education, awareness and funding opportunities for neurodivergent special needs children in an effort to help kids excel in the community. Neurodiversity refers to children who think, learn and communicate differently due to developmental challenges like autism, dyslexia and other learning disorders.
Tickets to “Bartender’s Battle” are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Admission includes two drink tickets and hors d’oeuvres.
