Restaurateur Joey Giannuzzi and hotelier Mitchell Robbins understand that people are constantly on the move, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up on healthy eating.
Giannuzzi, the chef behind the environmentally conscious Green Gourmet restaurant, teamed with Robbins, owner of the Wyndham Boca Raton, to create Farmer’s Table, a community-focused, health-centric restaurant adjacent to the hotel and Red Steakhouse, at 1901 N. Military Trail in Boca Raton.
The restaurant/café opened in late November for breakfast, lunch and dinner that blends health and wellness with sustainable fish, grass-fed meat and local produce that can be tracked from its origin.
Farmer’s Table is equipped with a café stocked with healthy brands and local fruit juices. Patrons can use the free Wi-Fi while grabbing breakfast. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant prepares gluten-free meals while avoiding the “dirty dozen” produce that contain toxins from conventional growers. Also not on the list at Farmer’s Table: excess salts, butter, deep frying and microwaving.
