Ming Tsai Visits Farmer’s Table in BocaCelebrity chef and TV personality Ming Tsai dropped in last week at the new-ish Farmer’s Table, the healthy foods eatery that has made quite a splash in butter-loving Boca Raton.
The East-meets-West restaurateur known for his Asian fusion cuisine chowed on Korean chicken wings, shrimp dumplings, goat cheese flatbread and pan-seared sea scallops, according to a restaurant publicist.
He also paused to pose for this photo with Farmer’s Table co-owner Joey Giannuzzi and executive chef Wilson Wieggel.
Tsai, a former “Iron Chef” competitor, is host of “Ming’s Quest” on the Fine Living Network and “Simply Ming” on American Public Television.
Farmer’s Table, which uses only healthy fats (no cream or butter in sight), is poised to spread out into the former Red, The Steakhouse space next door. (Red closed in March.) The health-driven eatery is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
